Andalucia Gypsies

Sevilla, the city of Grand Opera
For many around the world, including opera fans may be hard to think of Seville, the capital of Andalusia in Spain as a city of the opera. After all, when it comes to major opera houses of the cities that come to mind more easily are London, New York, Milan, Vienna, Paris and Sydney, even with its legendary opera, however, Sevilla's home should not be ignored as a city of the opera. Because in this city, where several of the best operas take place and I do not mean in the sense that it is carried out in Seville, but the stories in their scripts were written about this city cultured, also known by the wonderful Spanish folklore dance and pageantry of the same religious ceremony.
For example the French opera â € œCarmenâ € per Bisset begins in Seville, where the gypsy who lent his name to the opera who works in a snuff factory. It is at this factory that meets Josea Oedon € â €, the simple soldier who in a fit of jealousy come to kill the woman who claims to worship. Musically however, the opera â € € œCarmenâ Spanish can be seen in many ways as several of its arias are influenced by Andalusiaâ € ™ s tunes, such as its high played a part œToreadorâ € € effected in the second act œEscamilloâ € â €. The man that Carmen was going to fall in love with them ended tragically when, like opera.
Carmen, however, is not the only opera story that takes place in Seville, as it is in this city, where two Mozart's greatest operas € ™ s  and â € € € € œFigaroâ Oedon Giovanni also held. â € € œFigaroâ a faithful agent is about fighting the attempts of his master (Count Almaviva) to circumvent a woman (Susan) is engaged to â € Giovanni Oedon while € is based on the story known as The Joker â € œThe Sevillaâ € or just â € Oedon Juana €. Perhaps was coincidence, but the scripts of these two operas were written by OEDE Ponteâ € â € as it became part of â € œthe trilogy € which includes the opera â € œCosi Fan Tutteâ € or â € Itâ € œEverybody Do, which is how they translate that from Italian.
Beethoven even better known as a composer of symphonies, Sevilla did not stop his work as his only opera, â € € œFidelioâ takes place in a prison in the same city as the earlier operas. â € € œFidelioâ be a political drama about a woman with Leonor name that is passed by a man named Fidelio so she could sneak into the prison where her husband was held.
Of course this argument as could be a clearer example of a history of opera based in Seville and then Rossini € ™ s â € œThe Barber of Sevilleâ € which is really the story that precedes Mozart € ™ s â € œMarriage De Figaroa €, in the Beaumarchais trilogy that uses the same characters. As for â € œThe Barber of Sevilleâ €, contains an aria that could possibly be called one of the world's most famous places written Figaro here, Figaro and Le Figaro in almost everywhere. This aria is known to almost everyone, even by non-opera fans, as it has played in several of the drawings encouraged but is amazing how many people falsely certify this piece as Mozart from € ™ s â € œMarriage De Figaroa €.
Verdi was surely another great composer of opera and he felt the need to put a story about Sevilla in music than it did when it became the story â € œThe Forza Del Destinoâ €, of course, based in Sevilla and made a grand opera out of it.
In conclusion, I would say that although Paris, Rome and other major cities have not excluded opera librettos based on them is Seville, a city where the opera stories take place. This perhaps owing to the gentle tranquility that can be felt by all who should visit this great city.
