The historic city of Barcelona is ideal for short breaks. Some lovely architecture of Gaudí to see and some interesting museums, too. It is also an ideal place for a beach holiday as it has 4.2 km of sandy beaches located only 10 minutes the center of the city!
Another popular tourist attraction is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, located in the Basque Country. It is a duty for art lovers. While in Bilbao, take the opportunity to try some tapas, which are like tapas.
Alicante along the Costa Blanca, is a well known destination which has miles of sandy beaches to offer its visitors. Its mild climate is one reason why so many people come to visit. But if you want to do more than only found on a beach all day, then the city of Alicante has no shortage of things to see and do. There is the castle to visit, to enjoy various parks, museums to see and a wealth of restaurants for dinner.
The city of Granada, meanwhile, boasts the stunning Alhambra Palace, which was the residence of Arab sultans and is now a tourist attraction. You can take a tour of the Alhambra and view the amazing architecture itself.
Malaga is another area popular with tourists. The city has a cathedral, a market, the Picasso Museum, numerous museums, and the port and the castle, too.

Apparently, Valencia is where invented paella, so it is not surprising that there is no shortage of restaurants, cafes and tapas bars in this great city. Why not try some paella while there!
San Sebastian is another beach resort vacation. The best beach here is said to be the Playa de la Concha, which is not only popular for sunbathing, but also for swimming and water sports.
