Menorca – Must See Sights holiday in Menorca

Menorca is an ideal tourist destination. There are plenty of sun, and a large variety of things to see and do to keep everyone entertained. So if you want to leave the beach and take a trip to one of the attractions, here are some ideas that inspires you.

1. Xoriguer Distillery

Xoriguer Distillery is one of the highlights of Menorca you definitely should take the time to visit. Located in the Moll de Ponet, and goes back to the 18th century. This is where the famous Menorca gin is made, and a trip inside the workings of the distillery is a revealing experience.

Take a tour, see the huge copper stills that make the spirit, try a sample of the finished product product (if you're old enough more!) and buy some sweets to take home with you in the store. The distillery has a range of spirits other than gin, so there is a lot to prove.

2. It Freginal Park

Located in the heart of Mahon, is Freginal Park is one of the best places to relax in the city. Full of open spaces and large displays beautiful flower, you can easily spend hours walking around and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The park is also home to many cultural events that throughout the year, especially in the summer. The stadium hosts a lot of music concerts, especially during the summer jazz festival, which will be treated absolutely if you happen to see it.

3. Placa Alfons III

This is a very nice place located on the outskirts of the old town of Ciutadella. Worthwhile heading here simply to walk and admire the old buildings in this attractive area of the city. 4. Cales Coves
