Prescription prices in Spain?
I'm moving to Andalucia in June (from Birmingham, United Kingdom) and having my mother with disabilities me. In fact, one of the main reasons for going is that the hot weather should relieve your symptoms and give back a certain quality of life. One of my concerns is But how could I be able to access the medication you need (as defined by their GP in the UK). I learned that she should not having problems getting their prescription continued in Spain – is this true? And I understand that there is no fixed price system for prescriptions, but you pay the drug costs? Does anyone have any idea what might have to pay for drugs to follow …? If your mother is the retirement age in the UK, will automatically qualify to be covered by the Spanish, although you will need to ensure that access the system with the correct documents, I think the Newcastle office can help with this. Once registered and accepted, will receive a card to be presented at each visit. The recipes are issued by the Doctor and provided you have this card, you may receive a reduced precriptions when given in the Pharmacy. Unfortunately, I do not know if the drugs available are the same, or a Spanish doctor has just carried the same treatment.
