What am I allergic?
Hello, last summer I went to Andalusia, a region in southern Spain for 2 weeks. By the middle of the second week, my eyes began flushing, you know … just a little bloodshot. Every day, it became much worse and spread to students and out of about of the eyelids, which seemed a horrible rash all over the outside of my eyes. The return trip to the UK and bought some anti-histemy (allergy) tablets and worked a treat. This must mean I had an allergic reaction to something else in Spain … but I wonder why. They said it could have been the increasing for olives from there in the summer, and thought … maybe it was something in the air. Anyone who had a similar situation or know of similar stories? I'm pretty sure He ate nothing that completely different there, hell not even tried to paella. So I can only assume it was something in the atmosphere, like olives growth. Could someone clear this up?
Yes, pollen from olive trees in bloom definitely could have done, too, if they were harvesting olives during this time, shake the trees and releases more pollen. I live in an agricultural area and various types of trees Couse this problem me.
